• Hello,

I recently did the transfer from local to Ionos, via duplicator but the website is not online.

In the step 3, i put the link of the Filezilla file and not the url of the website on “URL”. I think it might be the problem.

I try to go back to the step 3, but i could not. I tried to change in setting in Ionos and duplicator, but i did not find where i can do this.

Can you tell me if i can go back to the step 3 and put the right Url, and see it this is the problem ? Or can i start from the start and delete all i have done, and do the migration again from the start ( do i will lose information if i do this ? )

    Thanks,
    Anissa

  • I have no idea what “Step 3” you’re referring to.

Perhaps this relates to the Duplicator plugin you used. So I’ll recommend you post in the Duplicator plugin’s own support forum to get help from the plugin’s developer and user community:

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/duplicator/

And if you could share your domain name here, I could take a look and let you know if the URL in the WordPress database is correct or not.

    Thanks for the reply.

    I post in Duplicator support.

And the domain name is : donnerdesailes.fr

the best, absolute best backup/migrate plugin that I have found for migrating sites (includig localhost) is BackupGuard. I have used updraft, backupbuddy, and several others. BackupGuard works better and faster than all of them. imho, ymmv, etc
