Great Tool

  • I needed o create a pop up on my site at the lat minute that was responsive and accessible. This tool made it relatively easy. It allows for HTML and custom CSS for each pop up, so if you know what you are doing, you can code it and have full control. The built in effects and functions are also very nice. Everything is done on your own site, it is not one of those junk pop up tools that makes you put your content on a different server. The main feedback I have is that they need to standardize the publish options. Right now it does not allow you to set a future publish date, so you can make it show up at a specific time in the future, like you can with any other post. The publish interface does not allow you to set it as a draft either, so it is non-standard. The overall UI is not bad, standardizing the publish options like any other post would be a great improvement.

    Just a small remark: we do have the option of scheduling a published popup, however, it’s a pro one.

    The comment regarding saving the popup as draft has been noted. It would indeed be a nice option to have in the future. People won’t have to publish and then unpublish the popup if they don’t want it seen right away.
