GMB to Google Maps?

    Hi there,

    Just wondering what you’re going to do now that GMB is being closed down and the business features are being migrated to Google Maps? Will this plugin still work?

    Hi @bazeboiee!

    I totally understand that this is a bit of an alarming move by Google, but as far as I’m aware the plugin won’t be affected by it.

    The Posts/Updates feature will remain and the plugin creates them through the official Google Business Profile API which isn’t scheduled to be deprecated.

    Recently Google did make some breaking changes to the API, which are accounted for in the newest plugin update.

    I’ll keep a close eye on it, and will update the plugin if necessary!
