• Hello, I am using flamingo message storage. when viewing submissions when I’m logged in it shows all the information. When I receive an inquiry through my website, the flamingo form doesn’t show the persons phone number even though they have to fill in the field. This leaves me having to sign into my wordpress account every time I get a submission just to find the customers phone number!
I’ve contacted the author or contact form 7 but have not received an answer or solution.
If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it
    Thanks

  • Hi there!

sorry for the silly question, but have you any mail-tag signaled in bold if you try editing the form via Contact > the form you’re having issue with > Mail tab?

Right before the Mail fields (to, from, ecc.) you should see that line:

In the following fields, you can use these mail-tags:
    [radio-99][your-firstname][your-lastname][your-email][your-tel][your-company][your-message]

If any mail-tag (in square brackets) is bold that means it’s missing from the email body that Contact Form 7 will send on form completion.

Hi Nicola, I’ve copied and pasted the form and it’s fields with mail-tags. Also, the contact form 7 has completely stopped sending emails.

    <label> Your Name (required)
    [text* your-name] </label>

    <label> Your Email (required)
    [email* your-email] </label>

    <label> Your Phone (required)
    [tel*] </label>[tel*] </label>[text* text-522]

    <label> Subject (required)
        [text* your-subject] </label>

    <label> Your Message (required)
    [textarea your-message] </label>
    '
    [cf7ic]

    [submit "Submit"]

Thanks so much for your help

The link speaks of mail tags etc. My form has stopped working completely

Thanks for the response, however my issue is the contact form is not sending at all. I don’t beleive it has anything to do with mail tags.
Someone, please, get back to me. Anyone else having this same problem?

    Thanks

    Hi @centexcrane !
Looks like the issue is not about Flamingo but Contact Form itself. It should be better open a new thread in the plugin Support forum to have better chances to get someone with the same problem sharing ideas with you.

I also noticed you have a [cf7ic] tag in the form code. You still have the same problem if you try to remove that and deactivate the Contact Form 7 Image Captcha plugin? Just to figure out where lies the issue.
