Hide default button

The author buttons should not appear in the sidebar for posts from authors who don’t have a Patreon profile saved in their profile. Do they appear in your blog for authors who did not save a Patreon link?

I have put the widget just after the content of the posts, and if the user has not setup him Patreon the button still appears and goes to the default Patreon i had set up when installed the plugin.

While if the user fill him Patreon user the button link works as expected.

Another problem, i have only Patreon Sidebar Author widget active but on the posts it always show me two widgets (even if i checked the Yes radio button on Hide Site widget on Single Post pages in the plugin settings under Sidebar Widgets tab).

You can try checking if caching at your site (plugins or the host) interferes with the widgets. By caching the old state of the sidebar and displaying it etc. Also, support is at the official forum:

I was able to have only Author widget show in my sidebar after checking “No” in the Button under Posts plugin option.

But now i have the problem that the Patreon author widget is always displayed in every single posts of all authors, even if they haven’t set it in their profile page.

You can check in the example page i put the link above.
Mimmo Lastella author has not filled him Patreon username in the WP profile but the widget still show.

When an author does not have his or her Patreon profile saved, the site widget should take over and show your website’s Patreon profile link instead. Does this not happen so?
