    Gutenberg v13.1.0

I linked to the url below in a button so that people could download the image, and I also tried linking as a plain anchor link. Clicking either would cause Simple Lightbox to trigger and endlessly spin, rather than going to the page in dropbox where the image can be downloaded.

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/k9u8oyhdqj3mchm/2022-02-28-163610-print.jpg?dl=0

I’ve had to disable Simple Lightbox on several sites because of this. Any suggestions for solutions are most welcome!

Thank you for the report. It has been added to the to-do list for a future update.

In the meantime, any link can be excluded from display in the lightbox with the [slb_exclude] shortcode. See SLB’s shortcodes documentation for more details.

Further information, I noticed that links to .png files are not being picked up by Simple Lightbox — which is the expected behavior.

Thank you for your quick response, I’ll exclude the URLs that are causing problems and turn Simple Lightbox back on again, which is great as it works really well.

SLB fully supports PNG files. Please provide a link to a page that exhibits the issue you are experiencing and I would be glad to take a closer look.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. It’s not an error. Unlike the Dropbox links to .jpg files, SLB does not attempt to load Dropbox links to .png files. I mentioned this in case it helped with locating the issue.
