2022 ignores sticky post flag?

  • Twenty Twenty-Two apparently has a bug where it ignores the sticky post property.

    I find it hard to believe I am the first to report this as a bug, so maybe I am missing something?

    Sticky posts STILL do not Stick.

    Just updated the theme and WordPress. No change.

    This is pretty basic WordPress stuff folks. Would somebody on the theme team just fix it? It will probably just take you a few minutes.

    Yes, I’m having the same problem. I wish somebody would fix this.

    I’m running the generic Twenty Twenty-Two theme, and marking a post as sticky has no effect on its placement. They always sort by date. I have no separate home page, just the blog, which defaults as the site’s homepage.
