Post Thumbnail (Featured Image) showing up as Gallery item

  • I am trying to upload a set of images as a gallery for a post that also has a specific image to be used as the “Post Thumnail” for that post. However when I upload the gallery images and then the “Post Thumbnail” rather than the “Post Thumbnail” being independent of the gallery it gets lumped in there with it.

    Is there a way to keep the “Post Thumbnail” from being a part of the gallery? Am I crazy but I thought you could do this in WP2.9?

    FYI – I am using WP3.0 and SlidePress.
