Home page content question

I am designing a website with Astra for the first time and don’t see how to accomplish my desired content. Specifically: Within the body section of the home page, I want a 6-image grid (3 columns, 2 deep). Each month I will manually change the images. Laid over each image, I want to add text that will always stay the same. (Not captions)

If Astra cannot handle this, can you suggest a free theme that will? Thanks in advance!
