• Hi,

I installed WordPress 3.0 and have been having bugs with the admin section since it was installed. Some pages come up as a blank white screen, only showing the left hand navigation. Some random HTML tags have been put into the content of posts and the image uploading tool seems to throw lots of errors.

I have tried the standard ‘deactivate plugins’ – in fact I have deleted all of my plugins so it’s very clean. I am using the default theme, not the new twenty ten one as the twenty ten one caused all of my pages to disappear.

I have also tried installing memory bump plugin, but this hasn’t had an effect either.

Does anybody have any advice or tips on what is going on, and how I can solve this? Has this happened in the past with other version upgrades? When and how are we likely to see a fix from WordPress for this?

The issue with the random HTML is this. In my pages I load up in HTML view and then strip out all HTML… I paste in a few
tags for some line breaks, when I hit update it replaces them with <p> tags. This isn’t what I want, and also the p tags are displaying the the visual layout mode too…

    Someone please help.
