WP Cerber crashing site

  • There is a server error while WP Cerber is running.

    There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    I’ve disabled the plugin and got the site to load.
    Reinstalled the plugin, same error.
    Manually uploaded the plugin, the error changed to

    There has been a critical error on this website.

    The system did not generate an email.

    Your time is greatly appreciated.
