    Hello,

    Testing the latest version of your plugin on a dev site and enabling the twitter username in the edit profile section results in 2 @@ being output on the frontend where the meta tag is generated like so:

    <meta name=”twitter:creator” content=”@@USERNAME” />

    removing the username from the field in the profile settings area fixes this BUT we need that enabled…

    That’s definitely a bit odd since WPSSO sanitizes that value (ie. adds missing @ or removes multiple @s) and stores the Twitter username with a single @ prefix. It sounds like you may have a plugin or theme adding an @ character when the option value is read, which is a bit unusual. I’ll add some sanitation when reading that value in the next WPSSO Core version, which should fix that issue. ??

    @jsmoriss thank you. Yes very odd. tested on a fresh install with plugins disabled and it still happens. have a feeling IF I deleted the plugins and data it may fix it but thats not an option. Look forward to the fix ??
