    Hi @donniam,

Thanks for reaching out! Yes, you need to replace SMTP Password with your Google App Password.

In case it helps, here’s how you can generate your App Password.

    I hope this helps. Thanks!

Ok a few questions. I have about 10 emails under my gmail account. Do I change all my smtp passwords to the one google app password?
Does outlook allow wp smtp without any special set up? I ask that because i have never been been able to receive my emails through gmail without forwarding all emails to my main gmail account. I can send from smtp, but gmail doesn’t work anyway for receiving.
    thanks

    Hi @donniam,

I missed your last response, and I apologize for that!

It looks like you have alias email accounts within your Gmail account. However, you can only send emails using your primary Gmail account when configuring the Other SMTP mailer option.

If you want to send emails using your alias emails, you need to configure the Gmail mailer and then follow this guide to add your email aliases.

    I hope this helps. Thanks!
