• Hi folks,

I’m trying to understand if the following is possible with the new Blocks:

    • Create a query loop that retrieves posts in a bullet list, and each bullet starts with inline post title and link, then follows with inline post excerpt.
    • Is it possible? Can/Should I switch off blocks for one page and do it a different way using custom code? I don’t need the perfect answer but any direction would be super helpful.

PS. in case it matters, I am a wordpress.com user and was sent here from support bc they couldn’t help me. I know this forum is for www.ads-software.com but they literally sent me here. any pointers would be helpful bc I’m at wits end T.T

  • I think you can select the start blank option when you create the query.
It will place your query in a List.

There are a few options you can select after clicking starting blank. Even if you don’t get it right you can add fields and rearrange them.

The list by default doesn’t have any Bullets so you would have to use CSS to add the bullets back to the list.

I’m not sure what all wordpress.com will allow you to do as far as customizing. You would have to ask them.
