Updated files not deleted automatically from cache

    When a file is updated it appears in the browser for logged in viewers but as soon as I log off I get the old cached version, as will all other viewers. Having to delete the whole cache or having to search the cache contents for that one page is a real pain. There seems to be no option in the settings to allow this. I cannot understand why such an obvious need is missing.

  • Something is wrong on your site. Can you enable debugging in the plugin and watch the log. It will tell you what files are being served. Maybe you can see why the logged out version isn’t cleared.

    There is no mention in the log file of the page that has been edited and the page remains listed in the cache contents.

    Weird. When you edit a page the log should show the cache being deleted. Sorry, I’m not sure what else to suggest.
