    Hi there,

We have been experiencing a “white screen of death” on various posts that utilize blocks from the plugin.

    WordPress Core: v5.9.3
    PublishPress Blocks: v2.13.1

Note: This error has been showing for the last few versions of the plugin. We keep updating in hopes that it will be resolved – as that has not happened I decided to reach out.

    Error found in Console:

    ReferenceError: align is not defined
        at save (blocks.js?ver=2.13.1:27894:54)

    Hi @webfolk,
is the Table of contents block, correct?

Please share the whole post html from code editor in a pastebin.com link.

I would love to share the contents of that, but unfortunately the screen is completely errored out and will not load the editor at all – simply just a white screen as per my original post.

Do you have another way for me to check whether or not the block is correct?

    Thanks

Is required to have the code in order to reproduce the issue in our end.

Deactivate PublishPress Blocks plugin for a minute, then see if the editor works and share the HTML from code editor in a pastebin.com link.

    Hi @webfolk,
    thanks for sharing the code!

I tested in my end and no error show up. The editor works fine. In addition there are no blocks from our plugin, only a Summary one but is already converted to HTML block.

It was converted to an HTML block because you told me to deactivate the plugin and then copy the html from the post. You recommended this because the back-end of the post would not load due to this error (white screen).

Deactivate PublishPress Blocks plugin for a minute, then see if the editor works and share the HTML from code editor in a pastebin.com link.

@webfolk HTML from Code editor as exposed in this screenshot: https://ibb.co/J7JDZbF

Is not required to convert the blocks to HTML block. Is possible to copy/paste as is after deactivating PublishPress Blocks plugin.

    Hopes this clarification helps.

It looks like deactivating it and reactivating sorted out the issue in both staging and production environments.

I’m glad the issue is solved!
