Latest Posts block – Conditional Logic

  • I have a post using the conditional logic from the “Groups” plugin by “ithinx”. I’ve tried this with other conditional block plugins, with the same result on WP 5.9.3

    In “View Post” the conditional logic works fine, showing content from “Registered” or “Not-Registered” users correctly – it shows EITHER the “Member” or “Non-Member” content, but not both.

    In “Latest Posts” the conditional logic is ignored, and both Member and Non-Member perspectives are shown.

    I’ve disabled all the other plugins on my site, and I get the same (bad) result.

    Hi there! Since the issue seems to be linked to a specific plugin, contacting the plugin author is probably the best route here. Have you tried bringing this to the Groups folks to see what they say? The plugin’s forum is here:

    Also, it’s probably worth testing this with WordPress 6.0 (which just came out last week) on a test site to start, to see if the issue is still there.
