    Hello!

Using the plugin for polls of a news site, which works great.

However, when a poll is closed, the widget spits a bunch of elements OUTSIDE of the normal widget container, which totally breaks all my sidebar styles. It seems to be a duplication of the poll elements in the normal widget.

    Screenshot shows the issue: https://imgur.com/UjYkqjZ

I’ve tried looking through settings and stuff but I’m not sure why this is happening. Only seems to happen on a closed poll – open polls, already voted on polls, and other regular behaviour is fine.

    could really use some help!

    Hi @chromaside

I hope you are doing good today.

I visited your site and I could not see the poll in the sidebar, which is possibly disabled now. Is there a way you could enable that so we could review this more by checking the source of your site? I assume there could be some conflict here with some CSS that comes from your theme or another plugin.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

    Hello @chromaside ,

We haven’t heard from you for some time now, so it looks like you don’t have any more questions for us.

Feel free to re-open this ticket if needed.

    Hello!

Sorry, got distracted. I’ve moved the widget to a testing page so we can review it.

You can see the widget errors here: https://www.timeschronicle.ca/real-estate-v2/
    page password: forminator

As you can see, when the polls are closed, the widget appears to duplicate all it’s content outside of the widget container.

I could really use some help!

    Thanks,
    Sean

    Hi @chromaside

    Thank you for the link,

Could you create a page where the Poll would work fine “open polls, already voted on polls, and other regular behaviour is fine.” and we can compare the pages and HTML Structure, currently I see this: https://monosnap.com/file/BQrvkGI87pCfu3ENGy5yESZlaXzAhy but I the shared screenshot on the ticket is no longer working so I don’t know if this is the wrong style.

    Best Regards

Hmmm, I’m not sure exactly what you need.

One the page I provided is one widget with the poll closed – the first one – it shows how the actual questions are duplicated below the widget container.

I’ve attached a screenshot of how the complete page looks: https://imgur.com/Ifqxllf

I’ve also uploaded a copy of the page source here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HuafTvyWb5RDK3U0LYaWfCraDbB06rfW/view?usp=sharing

Let me know what else you need from me.

    Hi @chromaside,

We see that you have mentioned the following,

Only seems to happen on a closed poll – open polls, already voted on polls, and other regular behaviour is fine.

What we asked is if you could share a page where an open or already voted poll is placed, which will help us compare the pages and HTML structure to help you further.

Please do let us know if you need any further clarification.

    Kind Regards,
    Nebu John
