  • Can you give an example of your own site where this is happening?

    Note that in the link you gave, the author said “no – this blog is NOT using jetpack site accelerator.” That’s not quite the same as not using JetPack at all.

    So if a site is using the 3rd-party JetPack plugin, but not JetPack’s Site Accelerator feature… and the images are being served from JetPack’s CDN (when it shouldn’t), that’s something to take up with the JetPack plugin’s authors.

    Note that I’m NOT saying WordPress isn’t doing this. I’ve just not seen it myself and I’m just curious to see where this is happening when JetPack is not involved at all (I’ll probably fire a new test site later today to test this for myself.)
