Issue with adding IP addresses in Multisite

  • Hi there,

    we would like to use the plugin in a multisite environment. First tests in a dev multisite environment looked promising.

    But now activated on a few subsites of the “real” multisite we are facing the issue that we can only add IPs to the whitelist on one of the subpages. In the other subsites we can’t add any IPs: when clicking OK to add an IP the area of the IP field “jumps” briefly to the top of the admin area and is “shaking” like in some sort of error. No IP is saved.

    We can see a JS error in the console when opening Settings->Read which seems to be coming from the file admin.min.js of the plugin. But this error also pops up in the console on the subsite where we can actually add IPs.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    So far, we could narrow it down to the AJAX in settings.js lines 150-154. If we uncomment these lines the IPs seem to get stored. However, without knowing what other impacts these adjustments could have, any help would still be appreciated.

    I’ve attempted to reproduce this without success on a multisite sub-directory install but without success.

    Are you able to help with the following:

    * what type of Multisite step up is it: sub-directory, sub-domain or mapped domains?
    * are you enabling RSA network wide or on each sub-site?
    * any other plugins you have installed?

    It’s a subdomain install.

    are you enabling RSA network wide or on each sub-site?

    Right now it is only activated on a few subsites for testing purposes.

    any other plugins you have installed?

    Yes, a lot. Are you looking for anything specific?
