Analytics Sales Number Not Reflecting Accurate Data

Recently I have had two credit card disputes through Stripe. Each time the money was refunded to the customer successfully through Woo. The problem is Woo now shows each transaction as being refunded twice. For example, instead of showing the $500 refund, Woo shows a refund now of $1,000 which throws off all of the analytics.
We checked the bank and only $500 was debited. Our bank reconciliations are accurate, Woo is not. This has happened twice now. How can I change the sales number to show accurate refund amounts and accurate sales figures? I am no longer able to use analytics for any type of comparison data year over year.
Please advise how the sales numbers can be manually adjusted for these occurrences and for any situations like this in the future.
