    Hi,

    We’ve been using this plugin for a while, but recently we’ve noticed that it has started double counted Add to Cart tracking events.

    Checkout and other conversions are tracking accurately so it just appears to be an issue with the cart.

    The settings show that the tracking is aligned to the woocommerce_after_single_product hook.

    We are not tracking this through any other plugin.

    Any ideas what could be causing this particular event to be double counting each time?

    Thank you for sharing the URL.

    We notice there is a Global site tag added which is not from our plugin. Could you please help to check the same once? Here is the screenshot for your reference.

    I would also suggest re-authorize your google account and completing the onboarding in the plugin again.

    This would hopefully solve the issue.

    Hi @sarathkumarrajendran – yes, we had also added the tag within the header but it has now been removed and the add to basket trigger is still being counted twice. This is a trigger that is only coming from your plugin.

    We see everything is perfect in terms of the button class, which is the actual way of implementing the add-to-cart button.

    However, the add-to-cart event is still duplicated. In this case, we recommend you deactivate the installed plugins one by one in the staging site to see if any of the plugins are conflicting due to which the add-to-cart events are duplicating.
