Mail-Breaks in Text-Area

    Hey there I have a quick question.

    If I create a Text-Area that later should be displayed in the E-Mail I cant get any breaks by default.

    Is there any chance to change this? I really need </br> in my mails

  • Hi,

    If you set the email to be in plain text format (under HTML Forms > Form > Actions) it will keep the linebreaks.

    When you set the email format to HTML, any html that is inside the submitted data is converted, this includes the linebreaks.

    If you want to keep using HTML formatted email AND keep the textarea as preformatted text, you can put <pre> and </pre>around the textarea field in the email, to output just that bit as plain text.
