On my site, whenever I activate YASR, there is a critical error that breaks the site. Sometimes I am able to just refresh the site and it works, other times I have to remove YASR completely via FTP.
When I manage to activate it, I am unable to give any ratings, there’s only the following error upon trying to save a rating: “Error in Ajax Call, rating can’t be saved”
    Any ideas, what to do?
    Thanks!

    Hello!

What version of WordPress and PHP are you using?

Can you please enable debug and paste here the last lines?

    Thanks

    Hi!
The WordPress version is 6.0 and the PHP version is 7.4.30

The debug log says the following:

@theotherai Please do not post large code or responses like that here, it doesn’t work after ~10 lines or so. That was way past that.

If you need share that data please use https://gist.github.com/ or https://pastebin.com/ instead and post the link to that paste.

Seems like for some reasons tables were not craeted.

I’ve made a plugin to create again the tables, can you please try to download and activate this? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NKNZPs0EZMUqB7zEWO_nrR3AnIocEn4X/view?usp=sharing

You need only to activate once, then you can deactivate this.

    Later YASR should work.

    Let me know!

    Hi!
Thanks for the quick help, it’s much appreciated!
That did the trick indeed but not before breaking the site again…
I had to uninstall the plugin after activating the table creation plugin. Then I reinstalled the plugin (generating another critical error) but after refreshing the page it now works.

    Great!

Now you can deactivate and delete the table creation plugin.

    Hi!
I have the same / a similar problem again where my site breaks when I activate YASR. I’m running WordPress 6.1.1 and PHP 8.0.26, the debug log shows the following error: https://pastebin.com/raw/Vc6UTba5

The bug fix you suggested last time doesn’t work for this error.

I can only get the site working again by renaming the plugin folder of either YASR or Ultimate Member.

    Do you have any solution?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello @theotherai !

Can you please start a new thread?
Your issue seems caused by something else.

    Best,
    Dario
