change home breadcrumbs text to icon

    hi I would like to change the text of the breadcrumbs home ” Link text for the Home Page ” with icon <i class=”fa fa-home”></i> .

    the problem is that I put only icon as written above, search console detects me missing item error, but if I put the text home everything works.
    I would like to understand how I can put the icon, but avoiding the error that the search console gives me. A thousand thanks

    Hello there,

    Thanks for reaching out regarding your breadcrumbs.

    An icon is not allowed as the anchor text for the homepage. As the name implies, it has to be a text. The Google Search Console will report Either “name” or “item.name” should be specified for the page if you use an icon.
