how to stop: one email address submit the Opt-in Form twice?
    or
how to stop: Send an automated email twice to the subscriber who has submitted an email?

    Hi @jackievon51

    I hope you’re well today!

Hustle has a built-in feature to prevent “duplicated subscriptions”. You just need to make sure that the “Integrations behavior” option in “Integrations” settings page of your popup/slide-in/embed is set to “Disallow Submission”.

This is set “per module” (not once for entire plugin) so you can, for example, have one popup that allows the same e-mail to be submitted multiple times and then another one that allows only single submission.

If it comes to e-mails then if such duplicated e-mail happens because the same e-mail has been submitted twice or more, then above setting should take care of it.

However, you may also want to double-check current configuration of “Submission Behavior” and “Automated e-mail” options in “Emails” settings section of your popup. It’s possible that you have them configured in a way that both are sending e-mail so that could cause such duplication even if user subscribed only ones.

    Kind regards,
    Adam
