WPMU with thumbnails (would pay at this point!)

  • Greetings, everyone!

    I’ll be brief. I currently run a site with WPMU that consists of about 20 “sub-blogs” that all channel to the main blog (https://netdugout.com). I use the Sitewide Tags plugin to get the posts to the main blog, and it does a nice job. The main issue I am having is getting the “Featured Image” to pass to the main blog. The main reason I need this is so that I can have thumbnails for the “category posts” on the right sidebar, among other things.

    Basically, if there is a way to get posts WITH thumbnails passed to the main blog, it would REALLY open up some nice layout options for our site.

    Is there anyone out there who can possibly explain how I may go about doing this?!?! I’ve researched this for months, and have not been able to find a solution. There has GOT to be something. I am even to the point of cutting someone a check for their help.

  • the devs of the SWT have been working on it for a bit now. One reason for the delay is the order in which things are fired, and this is interfering with getting the thumbnails.
