[Plugin: DOP Player] Trouble getting Dop Player to work

    In case anyone else has the problem I thought I would post just uploading the dop-player folder into the plugins folder doesn’t work.

    I had to have the files uploaded as follows:

    wp-content/plugins/dop-player.php
    wp-content/plugins/dop-player/dop-player-admin.php
    wp-content/plugins/dop-player/dop-player.swf

    After that just as the directions says, all you have to do is upload the FLV file and then select to insert it into a post. The video displays in posts automatically and the player is quite beautiful.

    As the directions say you can customize the colors under Settings and that works out really well.

    I did have other problems uploading FLV files over 2MB, but if anyone needs help on that issue see https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/378498?replies=2
