Customer Requested Change to Sotring + More

    I have a customer that has requested several minor changes to the plugin. Before I go about making the changes they want I thought I would ask here.

    1: They want to change the sorting options to remove trending. Is there a simple way to do this with out editing idea-table-header.php. I of course can edit that with JavaScript when the page renders. I would like to know if there is another way to do that.

    2: They want to change the filter options. to the following:

    ? Needs Review
 ? Under Consideration
 ? Working on it! 
 ? Complete!  
 ? We Have This
 ? There’s Another Way 
 ? Deferred

    They also want to add the number of Ideas for each item to the right of each filter. I know this would be a complete custom job. I just want to confirm that before I tell them.

    3: Is there a way to add a dropdown for preselected hash tags?

 ? #Policy
 ? #Procedures
 ? #SalesForce
 ? #Facilities
 ? #Engagement
 ? #Marketing
 ? #Recruiting 
 ? #System
 ? #Miscellaneous

    I believe there is an option for hash tags suggestions in the pro version? I know I can program this in if needed.

    4: They additionally wanted to know the following: Does the title of the idea auto-populate the hashtag? If so, can that feature be turned off?

    It’s not in the free version that I can see. Is this something available in the Pro version?

    Hi @dtremel,

    1. You could just hide this with CSS
    2. The statuses can be renamed from the Statuses tab in the plugin settings.
    3. You could look at the pro version of the plugin as this supports custom fields, and you could create a select and enter in those hashtags, please look at feature 11 here: https://northernbeacheswebsites.com.au/ideapush-pro/. But if you are talking about the actual tags, then yes, this could be done in feature 7 on that previous link.
    4. I am not sure I understand this one. Like I don’t understand how that would work, like how we would auto-populate a hashtag by putting something in the title, like as in, how would we know what hashtag to put in there? So because of this, I think it is safe to say no, we don’t do anything like this, because we wouldn’t know what hashtag to even put in there based on what was entered for the title ??
