Loco Translate allows you to translate plugins and themes, but actually it’s not a multilanguage plugin as such (it doesn’t allow you to translate your contents in several languages or allow your customers to switch the language in the front-end).
That said, I don’t think you need Loco to translate our plugin because German is already an available language, as I said above (although, you’ll need to install Language Fallback, if you’re using a different locale than de_DE
). However, as you already found out, the invoice language is served to the user active language. That is, if the admin set the German as user language, the invoice will be served in German. On the other hand, the customers will receive the PDF invoice in the site language.
However, if you want to set a specific language to the PDF documents, ignoring which language have set the current user or the site, you can use the Document language setting, included in the Professional extension, to achieve it:
