WooCommerce Subscriptions renewals question

Hi all!

Is it correct that the renewals always take place with the original amount? Lets say I purchased the subscription for $50 on the 1st of June 2021, and the business raised the price to $55, on the 1st of Juni 2022, should I get a $50 or $55 renewal?

More specifically, we have this with VAT, it seems a year ago we had the product temporarily set to 0% VAT whilst it should have had 21% VAT, therefor renewals that took place within that period have the amount without VAT, whilst they should be charged with the amount + VAT.
