When I edit some of the pages in elementor, it will occur this error:
    Error Screenshot

It must exist some conflict between Translatepress and elementor because I can edit the page with elementor normally when I disabled the Translatepress plugin.

The first time I found this error was when I added a new template in Template –> Saved Template –> Add New –> Select page and input the template name –> Create Template.
    Reproduce the issue
Then, I don’t know why other published pages will have the same error now.

There are several Ad-hoc solutions I found:
    1. Duplicate the page using the Duplicate Page plugin, then I can edit the page by enabling Translatepress and elementor at the same time.
    2. Remove the page that occurred this error and restore it from the recycle bin.
    3. Disable Translatepress plugin –> Edit with elementor –> Enable Tranlsatepress plugin again.

Please help to find the bug and fix this conflict, thank you.

    Hello there,

Thank you for getting in touch with us!

TranslatePress should work with Elementor out of the box. I was not able to replicate the mentioned issue on a clean instance.

Since this looks a lot like a conflict with some other code, the next recommended step is the conflict test (ideally in a staging environment):

??*Briefly* disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme. Please also disable all add-ons. If this fixes the problem, as it probably will, enable everything one by one, checking each time to see when the problem returns.

Let us know when you find the conflict so that we can take a look and see what we can do about it.

Hi, thank you for your reply.
I disabled all other plugins, and add-ons and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme with elementor and Translatepress plugin only. However, the problem still exists when I edit the same page but it can create a new page and edit it with the elementor. Could you check the Translatepress will cause the elementor cannot to find the related page?

Same problem here. Elementor doesn’t work (The preview cannot be loaded). Only plugin active is TranslatePress.

We had the same issue with latest translatepress version. Looks like their new plugin translation does not work that stable. would be nice to have an option to disable that feature. In our case we had some slug redirect issues on certain words. Even we did NOT used the SEO translation on slugs. For the moment we changed the slug to something NOT translatable. for example: ‘device-info-product’ -> ‘dip’ then it started to work back in editor and as well as published version.
