Add Reply-to Field to Employer Notification Email After Application

    Hi,

    I’d love to be able to set the reply-to to the candidate’s email -> [from_email] instead of the admin email. We get a lot of out of office notices from the employers and sometimes they reply to our admin email as if they are the candidate. It would be better to have a reply-to field set up dynamically as the candidate’s email so they can get in touch with each other faster.

    Would you perhaps be able to provide a code snippet which I can put in my functions.php to get this done? I am using the Workscout theme.

  • You will have to use the create_job_application_candidate_notification_headers filter to set Reply-To in the headers or use the Emails addon

    I’ve seen you’ve asked for a code snippet to change the from-email field so that it contains the employer’s or applicant’s email address; however, we don’t have any code snippets for that.

    I’d suggest taking a look into the create_job_application_candidate_notification_headers filter mentioned in the previous reply by tripflex.
