    Hello,
I added Post SMTP to a website to help woocommerce emails reach their destination email address. Post SMTP shows that all the emails are “All good, mail sent.” however, Gmail email addresses are still not receiving the first email.

We have multiple emails set to receive the order notifications, if its Gmail, it is not received, but all other email addresses do receive the confirmation email.

After I go into logs, and click resend, to then send the notification to the same Gmail address, it is received.

Any ideas as to how to get around the issue?

    @verdipro Hi,

    Hope you are doing good.

When you sent mail first time on Gmail address, I need that first failed Email log.

Please share the Status of the “Solution” and “Status” Tab.

For more details see the screenshot here.

    Thanks

Also, share the Diagnostic Test Report you can find from Post SMTP > Dashboard > Troubleshooting Tab.

    Thanks

@haseeb0001 Is that report safe to post online, or should I send it to you another way?

It’s safe, in this report there will be total plugin names, PHP version, and other basic things.

@verdipro Thanks, let me reproduce this on my staging website, will get back to you soon.

    Thanks

Just letting the plugin admin know – This is still happening.

It got better after removing Gmail API client ID & secret and adding it back (and re-authenticating), but still feels a bit inconsistent.

In my case, I can see the emails in Gmail’s sent folder. But some of them do not get delivered. (nothing on recipient’s inbox or spam)

    Thanks in advance ??

    Keep up the good work.

@danushkaj91 Noted, our team is working on it, once we reproduce it on our test websites then we will fix it and release the updated version soon.

    Thanks

@haseeb0001 Apologies for not updating earlier. Apparently we had an issue with Google servers and it was delaying emails. Error was logged in as a transient error in the G-suit admin email log and Google, when I talked to them confirmed that it was an error from their end and everything went back to normal since last morning.

Thanks & sorry for the delay

@haseeb0001 sorry was away & just catching up on this thread. Does this solution also apply to me? Reason I ask, is my client is not using G Suite. Its just a regular Gmail address that he is having his emails sent to. So we don’t have a direct contact with Google to resolve this, or any way of modifying settings.

    (@haseeb0001)

@verdipro okay if you dont have Gsuite then let me find any solution for you, in the meantime, you can also search this issue on google support forums.

    Thanks

@haseeb0001 ok thanks. I will take another look around. Initially I didn’t find anything, which brought me to see if it was plugin related.

@verdipro you’re welcome, I have also forwarded this thread to my senior technical team, if we found any issues we will update the plugin and let you know.
