I share a post to my Facebook page image doesn’t show up.

I checked your robots.txt file and it does not follow our recommendation at https://yoast.com/wordpress-robots-txt-example/

Also, in the FB sharing debugger and page source, the og:image defined is https://secureservercdn.net/198.71.233.153/i49.a9e.myftpupload.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/Circle-logo-L-2.png?time=1657744927. It seems you are using the CDN service of GoDaddy and the image is loading from there. Is this correct?

I recommend reaching out to your CDN/web hosting provider to solve this issue, as this is not related to Yoast SEO. The CDN may need to be disabled, or it might be a robots.txt restriction.

I didn’t have any problem until approximately 2 weeks ago. Now I feel I’m getting the run around. I contacted GoDaddy & they checked what you suggested about the CDN & it didn’t work. When I told them that it might be a robots.txt restriction as you stated this was their reply, “We cannot check the file on our end it might be in the yoast seo plugin”. Need help! Can it have to do with the update cause that’s the only thing done in the last 2 weeks that changed on my site?

Thanks for your patience and for reaching out to us. The image not showing on the Facebook debugger is due to some issues at the end of Facebook for the last couple of days.

When I tried to share the homepage on Facebook.com, I noticed that the image you set as a Social image is showing within the preview without any issues. So we request you use the Facebook debugger to scrape the URL on the debugger and try sharing it on Facebook as a post to ensure that the image is showing correctly displaying.

I have already attempted that; it’s still not working. The problem started when I updated yoast about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Please check this out on your end. I never had this problem.

Also, the same thing is happening in Twitter

As the issue is not occurring when sharing on Facebook and Twitter when copy-pasting the link.
