However, discount will be applied in the current order/ cart.

It is not possible to apply $5 discount on next order, based on quantities of previous order. So sorry about it.

I think I have misunderstood.

Let me explain you the possibility via our end:

You can setup something like this: https://nimb.ws/907RT2
As per the above setup, if customer have previously purchased any one of the inlisted product -> then $5 off will be applied in the current order.

However, it might not be possible to provide a incremental discount ($10 or $15) ie..,based on quantities of previous orders at the moment.
