IFTTT integration

is there any possibility of creating applet of woo-commerce on IFTTT? It would be really great if you guys can create triggers for woocommerce order status to send an SMS or discord message using IFTTT

TBH https://ifttt.com/wordpress has no woo commerce order status triggers

integromat and make.com both are a single entity and their services are expensive! where each woo commerce order easily has 3 to 4 stages every order creates more requests and we can not go with free tire.

You may suggest us to opt for paid services but we are a non-profit organization we prefer no monthly subscriptions.

The reason we need IFTTT is we can trigger android SMS to customers for every order. In India we have restrictions by govt (DLT by TRAI) we need to go through a lot of processes to obtain SMS API from providers like MSG91

Sorry to hear IFTTT does not currently allow you to integrate with WooCommerce in the way you envisioned.

There are possibly many ways to accomplish what you are seeking, though I understand budget is also important element to this.

You may check out one of our extensions such as AutomateWoo that allows you to set up a workflow to send SMS messages (Twilio integration).

Here is how you can set up a workflow using AutomateWoo extension: https://automatewoo.com/docs/twilio/sending-sms-from-a-workflow/ AutomateWoo also has many ways to set up workflows to send emails as well, so it would be a great tool to communicate with your customers.

You may further seek other alternative on the web by keywords such as “WooCommerce order status change SMS” etc. Here is one of the example results: https://www.pabbly.com/how-to-send-sms-when-order-status-changes-in-woocommerce/ There are also a few pluings/serveses out there that can integrate with IFTTT and WooCommerce.

You may also consider other ways around this such as integrating orders with spreadsheet applications such as Google Sheet, Airtable, etc then creating another layer of automation within the spreadsheet. (Trigger is when column changes to X, send SMS message, etc.) Though this would likely also cost you, it may be good to consider it.
