Hi @goutm – please provide a link to your site, I’ll need to take a look directly to try to see what’s going on.

Also, please provide the following information:

    – What version of WordPress are you using?
    – Is the issue present with all your plugins temporarily deactivated? You can use the Health Check plugin for this, which will not change your live site – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/

    Dear Kathryn @zoonini

This issue turned out to be because of recent Gutenberg plugin update. After I got a proof of that, I posted more detailed description here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/latest-gutenberg-update-changed-my-site-template/ Screen recording of the update process is also there. But under the decision of @mrfoxtalbot the issues is considered to be solved.

Well, I restored my site from the backup, so now it looks OK (without update of the Gutenberg plugin). I always use latest updates available, but I can’t answer your question regarding whether my site shows fine with all plugins off, since for now I can’t update Gutenberg once again and try different options. I can give a link to the site, but I would appreciate that I can do that in a more direct way.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me in case I can do more.

Well, in order to assist further, it would certainly be helpful if you could please do all the things I mentioned above:

    – Provide a link to your site (to get help in this public forum, you’ll need to post the link here) Edit: you can post it without the https:// portion if you prefer that it not be clickable; or you can even do something like put it into a temporary (self-destructing) Pastebin, and link to that from here

You don’t need to update Gutenberg. Just temporarily deactivate all plugins and see if the problem persists. As I mentioned above, you can use the Health Check plugin to temporarily deactivate plugins during your logged-in session, it won’t affect the live site.

There’s no issues now because I restored my site from the backup — and now the site is _before_ the Gutenberg plugin is updated. What happens when I update the plugin is shown on the screen recording in the topic regarding Gutenberg plugin.

This does look like a bug; you can follow the issue here:

    https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/42604

In the meantime, I recommend deactivating Gutenberg. It’s meant as a development plugin (not for production/live sites) that gives access to features before they’re included in core, as it says on the plugin’s information page:

Are you a tech-savvy early adopter who likes testing bleeding-edge and experimental features, and isn’t afraid to tinker with features that are still in active development? If so, this beta plugin gives you access to the latest Gutenberg features for block and full site editing, as well as a peek into what’s to come.

You will still have access to the block editor via WordPress core even with the standalone Gutenberg plugin deactivated.

Marking this as resolved as this should be fixed as of Gutenberg 13.7.2 – and we’re up to 13.7.3 now!
