duplicate image bug

  • this is a new bug that just started happening since upgrading to 3.0. I upload a thumbnail of an image into the body of the post and a larger version of the image appears at the top of the post. AND THERE’S NO CODE….

    Even when I delete the code for the image, while the thumbnail (that I wanted to be there) disappears, the large image at the top is still showing up!

    Yikes!

    BTW – I’m not a techie, programmer, just a mostly happy wordpress user. My blog url is https://artists-edge.com/blog

    Holy Cow – I just deleted ALL THE CONTENT from the blog post – there’s no code- but that picture’s still showing up.

    A link to the post in question might help. I can’t see anything obviously wrong on your home page.

    OK, third time of deleting post and reentering it from scratch, and I finally got it to accept pictures w/o the weird echo.

    Hey Esmi – yeah, I deleted it without taking it live. It was showing up in the previews while in draft.

    This happened last week too, when I was working on a similar post. So if it happens again, I’ll take it live and let you know.
