It looks like either the files are gone, or you installed them into the wrong directory.

this is a new site, I dont get what you mean ??

The error at noovomedia.com/wp-admin/ and noovomedia.com/wp-login.php is “The system cannot find the file specified.”

This means that noovomedia.com/wp-admin/ and noovomedia.com/wp-login.php do not exist, suggesting that these and the rest of the files were not uploaded to the correct location.

If you’re installing manually, follow this guide:

    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Installing_WordPress

Upload the contents of the “wordpress” folder to your root directory (this varies between hosting providers, but it’s usually /public_html/, /public/, /html/, /web/, or /www/).

but I used Fantastico deluxe to install wordpress, terribly sorry but i’m a complete newbie at all this stuff.

It seems that Fantastico hasn’t installed all the necessary files.

Try installing it again. If that doesn’t work ask your webhost.

I’ve done that . SO I guess I have to install WordPress manually to get all the neccesary files ?

There must be something wrong with your hosting provider’s Fantastico. I guess a manual installation is your only other option.

Would the name only being registered a few hours ago have any effect?

OOps! I made a grave mistake. It’s a hosting issue but it’s been resolved so I’ll wait till propagation period is over . you can close this thread now.
