My site score dropped when I refreshed

Could you please let us know what the score Boost was showing before and what it is showing now? Is it for both desktop and mobile?

Also, could you please confirm if you have any other site optimization plugin installed and active other than Jetpack Boost? I can see you also have the SiteGround Optimizer plugin installed.

Jetpack Boost and other optimization plugins like SiteGround Optimizer plugin may have similar optimization options available. We don’t recommend having the same optimization enabled in Jetpack Boost and other optimization plugins, as it can decrease the site speed instead of increasing it.

The current scores are 13 on mobile and 33 on Desktop.
So I deactivated Siteground and hit the refresh and 2 times it told me it failed to load speed scores because it is taking too long.

Now I’m not sure what to do.

I was able to get a new score and it is saying 13 on mobile and 45 on desktop. I’m happy that there is an increase but mobile didn’t move at all.

I’m glad that the score went up on desktop.

Looking at your results on https://pagespeed.web.dev, I’m seeing that the biggest issue is your images. Google PageSpeed recommends that you serve your images in next-generation formats:

This should improve your score on mobile. One way to do this would be to use the Site Accelerator feature in Jetpack. Turning on Lazy Loading in Boost — if you haven’t already — may also help with the image loading.

Beyond this, you might want to go through all of your plugins and disable any that you aren’t actively using. This would reduce the total amount of JavaScript your page is loading and likely improve load times.
