    Hello,

    Long time user of your Pro plugin for my site, LowEndBox.com. Around July 20th new post email notifications stopped sending. I can’t recall when I last updated your plugin but perhaps something is broken in the current version?

    Everything looks OK on the server.

    – Version 5.4.5
    – Using Amazon SES to send email
    – Test email sends successfully

    A new post notification worked early on July 20th:

    Post Notification July 20, 2022 6:10 am July 20, 2022 9:10 am 1,043 1,043 315

    Later that day it was did not work when a new post was published:

    Post Notification July 20, 2022 4:10 pm July 20, 2022 7:10 pm 1,043 0 0

    All posts since July 20th have shown 0 (ZERO) emails sent just like above.

    Something is broken with your Amazon SES connector (same error occurs when trying to use SMTP sending mode directly). I checked the logs and I am seeing this error:

    Email Source: Email Subscribers & Newsletters Pro
    Mailer: Amazon SES
    Error executing “SendEmail” on “https://email.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/v2/email/outbound-emails”; AWS HTTP error: Client error: POST https://email.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/v2/email/outbound-emails resulted in a 400 Bad Request response:
    {“message”:”Email address is not verified. The following identities failed the check in region US-EAST-1:

    HOWEVER, the from email address as set in your software is an approved identity in SES.

    So my guess is the plugin is not honoring the “from” email address as set in the field dialog box correct.

    I have submitted the form four times using two different browsers. Maybe something is wrong with your support form?

    I am having the same problem, I suspect, as other people here trying to use your plugin with Amazon SES. Your update on July 19th broke SES sending for normal notifications. The test email function (inside your plugin) still works, however.

    Whereas referring to your concern regarding email sending, it seems to have been resolved in the latest release(5.4.8). Could you please update your plugin and let us know how it goes?

    I do not see an update available.

    Latest version of Email Subscribers & Newsletters Pro is 5.4.7.
