Relevanssi + Shoptimizer

  • Hello,

    When I activate Relevanssi on the Shoptimizer theme, it somehow conflicts with its basic search widget, because it’s not showing any suggestions when typing the text I am looking for.

    Can you please make them somehow compatible please?

    Shoptimizer is not a free theme, so I have no idea what it does with the search.

    Some themes have a built-in ajax search that is not compatible with Relevanssi but then also have a filter hook that can be used to replace the default search with Relevanssi. Perhaps Shoptimizer has one, too?

    You can ask the Shoptimizer support if the theme has something like the flatsome_ajax_search_function in Flatsome (see here) or some other way to choose which search engine to use for the search widget.
