Not so simple anymore

  • While the plugin essentially functions as it previously did, it now tries to upsell me to “new” features that I really don’t want or even need from the plugin.

    I will be doing my best to rollback to the previous version, and keeping it simple and not bloated with upselling.

    Hey Barney, I encourage you to look at our code, we’re not bloated at all. We’ve actually been refining this for the past three years and just released this as a free version ??

    Unlike before, now you can create beautiful product displays, and automatically integrate with the Amazon API all under a vastly improved UI. And, if you like the old sad UI, you can easily switch back in the sidebar. All core functionality is the same.

    Would love it if you gave us a shot. Reach out via support in the plugin and the team and I will personally make sure you have everything you need!

    Again, the original plugin did what I wanted without a “new, improved” UI and Amazon API integration. It was a simple redirect plugin with clean URLs.

    I will be rolling back to a pre-Lasso version of the plugin, that does exactly what I want without any of the unnecessary “showmanship” that seems to be creeping into WP plugins nowadays.
