[Plugin: More Fields] New Post Type shows up on left but url ends up as 404

  • Hello

    I think I might need some help understanding Post Types.

    I created a Post Type “contact” based on “page” using the contact template.

    It does show up on the left under the “Posts” menu. When I click on “Add new” the url directs it to go to https://mysite.com/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=contact, but I end up on my Error 404 page.

    What am I doing wrong?

    This seems strange. It would be the correct way of doing things. (Except that with WordPress 3.0 you should be using More Fields 2.0, that hasn’t been released yet, and More Types 1.0 that is in release candidate state.)

    What’s your setup?

    More Fields version?
    WordPress version?

    More Fields has just been released in release candidate. Look for Alternate versions.
