get_page_by_title() doesnt work if the title has apostrophe

  • I have a post named John’s Test with post id 1.
    My code:

    $extraContent = get_page_by_title(get_the_title(1), OBJECT, 'post');
var_dump($extraContent);

    returns NULL.
