    Hi

I have confirmed that webp versions of images I’ve uploaded are being created by looking at the server but the plugin did something strange. It created its various size versions of the image and in order to use it I had to know to select that size. No version of the original image was saved at the size the original image was created.

    Is this a known restriction?

I’m finding this is unusable with page builders.

  • Hi @glasshalfpool, thanks for getting in touch!

Can you clarify that I’m understanding this correctly?

    1. You uploaded a JPEG image in a custom size
    2. The Performance Lab plugin generated multiple WebP versions of that image, but none of them were the same size as the original JPEG image that you uploaded

Is that correct? If so, would you mind sharing one of the images that you uploaded so that I can test, as well? You can upload an image to Google Drive or another sharing service and share the link here.

    Thank you!
