Google analytics problem

  • After updating the Google plugin and checking that all was well, I got this error message:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined method WP_Error::get_items() in /home/creative/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/yst_plugin_tools.php on line 196

    Is this a permissions problem?

    I’m using Google Analytics for WordPress, I’ve not tried any other plugin. you have a recommendation?

    Just loaded ‘Ultimate Google Analytics’ and when I activated it, I got this msg.

    The plugin generated 280 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.
