    Hi,
today I updated the plug-in “Photo Gallery Version 1.7.3” and it add a filmstrip with image thumbnails to the lightbox of all my galleries.
When i check “no” beside “Enable filmstripe” in general ligntbox setting, the filmstripe still play on the front-end.
    It’s a bug ? How disable the filmstrip ?
    Best regard,
    Monica

    Hello, dear @m0nique ,

Thank you for reaching out to us,

What you have described is absolutely correct – “Enable filmstrip” -> “No” should disable filmstrips globally and this option is tested and functional with 1.7.3 – is it possible to send us the screenshot of your lightbox global settings? Could you also kindly try and manually flush website’s cache after applying this setting?

Please keep us posted, thanks a lot in advance!

I’m running Version 1.8.5 and have the same issue.

I have toggled the setting: “Enable filmstrip” -> “No” and it has no effect. The filmstip always shows in the lightbox.

Tried setting the filmstrip height to “0” (zero) and it had no effect on the height or display of the filstrip.

I am having the same issue. I have chosen “NO” for filmstrip below the slideshow in the lightbox settings, emptied caches for the website to no avail. I’m hoping you can fix this soon so I don’t have to find another photo gallery. I’ve liked this one, however, I really dislike this feature and it’s stuck there.

    Hello,

I am having the same problem on ver.: 1.8.8. Setting:

    • on Photo Gallery > Global Settings > Lightbox
      Enable filmstrip: No
      and
    • on Photo Gallery > Global Settings > Gallery view > Slideshow
      Slideshow filmstrip type: None

do not have any effect on the Slideshow gallery view. But changing the filmstrip dimension is changing the height. Clearing cache is not helping. Please can you provide some solution or workaround that can solve this problem. I do not want this feature to all Slideshow galleries. ?

    Thanks!

    @jaineism , @waynem1 ,

I found a workaround: if you set on Gallery > Global Settings > Gallery view > Slideshow > Slideshow filmstrip size to 0px, the filmstrip?disappears.

Thanks but unfortunately, the filmstrip optidoesn’t change, no matter what I do, including your instructions. The Slideshow>filmstrip size is not in Gallery View for me. It’s under the Global Settings>Lightbox…Setting it to 0px did nothing.

Forgot to say that this is tested on ver.: 1.8.9.
