    Does this plugin utilized htaccess on the backend? WPEngine is removing support to htaccess so I need to make sure this login is compatible before spending time looking into it further?

    Hi @timbobo,

    Thanks for reaching out to us last night.

    To answer your questions,

    • Yes, our PDA Gold does make use of .htaccess rules for Apache servers but we don’t depend on them 100%
    • In fact, we do support “Raw URLs” which works independently of the .htaccess rules
    • Our PDA Gold also integrates with the most popular servers/hostings by implementing direct rewrite rules:
    • Take WPEngine for example, we have a tutorial to implement our redirect rules as per their recommendations.

    In short, the fact that WP Engine disables .htaccess doesn’t affect how our plugin works.

    Even at the moment, assets/files on WP Engine don’t go through .htaccess rules anymore.
